Maria Brink

 Maria Brink was born December 18th, 1977. She is an American musician and singer. In This Moment has released seven albums and received four nominations from Alternative Press Music Awards. Additionally, Brink was named "Rock Goddess of the Year" as well as "Hottest Chick" in Metal in the fifth (2013) and the fifth (2015) Annual Loudwire Music Awards. Brink is one of 11 women in heavy rock who matter to Yell! Revolver Magazine named Brink one of the "25 most hot girls in Hard Rock & Metal" in 2012. At the age of 25, she joined Revolver old when she left for Los Angeles to search for a band. She worked in shops, performed in bars, and performed in coffee shops. She came across Chris Howorth, now a member of the band, during an audition in 2004. Howorth initially turned down Brink due to her being a woman. Howorth apologized two weeks later and hired Brink to be his singer. They formed Dying Star with Jeff Fabb as their drummer. Later, Blake Bunzel and Josh Newell joined the band as guitarists. The band changed their name to In This Moment
