Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American artist and singer who was a star after she took home American Idol's 2002 talent show. Clarkson was raised in Burleson (Texas) located in an area of Fort Worth. Her vocal abilities were noticed when she was 7 years old by the teacher who taught choir at the school she attended. Clarkson left high school to move towards Los Angeles where she failed to break into the entertainment business. In 2002, after returning to Texas her name was announced as a contestant on the first season of The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol, a singing competition that allowed viewers to decide which singer they liked best. Clarkson was loved by viewers because of her charismatic voice and funny sense of humor. Clarkson won $1 million, and also a contract recording deal with RCA in the prize.
