Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood was born in the state of Arkansas, and was raised there. She was a television host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. Sheryl was raised in Little Rock. Sheryl has a turbulent family. Sheryl spent the majority of her childhood helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. When she was growing up, there were many arguments with her mom. Sheryl asserts that, for instance she was stabbed by her mother's father after he became intimate with her. Sheryl was a college graduate when she was drafted into the military. However, her interests lay in comedy. She was the first female winner of the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV professional career started in 1992 when she was a guest participant on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the T.V. show Oh Drama! She is currently a guest co-host for the Talk talk show since 2011. Additionally, she's played fictional roles in series such as Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
