Fawn Mckay
Fawn McCay, was born in Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Fawn McCay was born the city of Ogden, Utah in 1915. She was a member of the Mormon church's founder family. She employed her literary geniuses and extraordinary research skills to write the brilliant, psycho-historical, biographical work of Joseph Smith. It was published in 45, under the heading, "No Man Knows My History". That title was taken from a funeral sermon given by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844. He shocked the congregation with his words"You don't even know me." and you've never known my heart. No one knows my story. I can't tell. Fawn has written the 29-year-old Fawn. Since then, at least three writers have risen to the challenge. A lot of people have detested him while others have glorified. A few have even made a diagnosis. It's not that documents aren't there, it's that they're so inconsistent. In order to assemble these documentsand separate the firsthand stories from plagiarism by third parties, and finally, to put Mormon and non Mormon stories together to form a credible mosaic is no difficult task. It's both thrilling, as well as instructive. It's a task which Fawn Brodie put her professional energy into. Her research and writing immortalized her with the world's attention: Thaddeus Stevens. The Devil Drives (1959) Scourge Of The Southern Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate Historical History (1974).
